We have bought and sold many houses in our lifetimes and have worked with many agents in different parts of the country. We feel that Lonnie has added a whole dimension to the phrase "works for the seller." He helped us sell a home in which we had invested a lot of emotion and money at a time when the market just kept falling. Lonnie made it clear from the beginning that he was dedicated to our best interests--and his actions over the three years it took to sell the property more than bore that out. He supported our decisions along the way, even to the point of serving as rental manager for us when we decided to take the property off the market for a year. His professional skills were among the best we've ever seen, whether it was pricing, marketing, responding to offers we couldn't accept, or finally negotiating a purchase agreement and steering the closing to a smooth and timely conclusion, though one of us was out of state. We appreciated his prompt and detailed communications with us and regular updates on comparables and the state of the market. Lonnie, Thank you. Your efforts in selling our house were exemplary. Within three business days after listing our house, you had a buyer interested in a showing. The buyer put in a purchase offer within a few days after that. In today's housing market, that is quite incredible. But simply put, you really did your homework. You researched markets to find the "right price", listed with MLS, and networked with other realty professionals. What really showed me your extra effort, was your willingness to help during the closing process. We moved halfway across the county between the time of a buyer offer and the date of final closing. Your constant and consistent communication with us, the buyers, and the title company made the long distance closing smooth and efficient. The realty business is not about real estate. It's about service; doing what you say you will do, and doing what needs to be done. In the dynamics of business, references are important.
